Міжнародний день солідарності людей був оголошений на Генеральній Асамблеї ООН у грудні 2005 року. Інформація про впровадження цього свята міститься у спеціальній резолюції, що присвячена першому 10-річчю боротьби зі злиднями. Також дата згадується в Декларації тисячоліття, де солідарність названо основоположною цінністю для людства у 21 сторіччі.
ЩО ТАКЕ СОЛІДАРНІСТЬ?
Солідарність — єдність переконань і дій, взаємодопомога і підтримка членів соціальної групи, що ґрунтуються на спільності інтересів і необхідності досягнення загальних групових цілей, спільна відповідальність. Одним із засадничих принципів ООН з моменту її заснування є солідарність з людьми, котрі страждають від злиднів і гноблення. Однак люди, що виконують різноманітні завдання та мають різні погляди та інтереси, також можуть бути солідарними, оскільки в процесі своєї життєдіяльності залежать один від одного. Адже соціальна солідарність – це взаємозалежність. Наприклад, фермери вирощують овочі, фрукти, зерно для того, щоб нагодувати працівників заводу з виготовлення сільськогосподарської техніки. Своєю чергою, фермери отримують ті ж самі трактори від заводів.
Солідарність щодо людей, які страждають від тиску, пригнічення та бідності є одним із головних засад створення та функціонування Організації Об’єднаних Націй. ПРИНЦИПИ СОЛІДАРНОСТІ В ООН
Створення Організації Об’єднаних Націй сприяло зближенню народів і країн світу з метою захисту миру, прав людини і соціально-економічного розвитку. Крім того, неухильно дотримуючись духу солідарності, Організація в своїй повсякденній діяльності покладається на «здійснення міжнародного співробітництва у вирішенні міжнародних проблем економічного, соціального, культурного і гуманітарного характеру». Генеральна асамблея ООН зазначила, що солідарність є однією з фундаментальних і універсальних цінностей, які повинні лежати в основі міжнародних відносин у XXI столітті.
Сама Організація Об’єднаних Націй була створена з метою об’єднати та зблизити між собою різні нації нашої планети, щоб стояти на сторожі миру та дотримання прав людини. 24 жовтня 1945 року представники з 51-ї країни зібралися на зустрічі в Сан-Франциско, де і відбулося перше засідання ООН та ратифікація договору. Мета зустрічі – початок та розвиток співпраці між країнами заради збереження у світі миру та безпеки.
Солідарність завжди лежала в основі роботі Організації, головною метою якої було об’єднувати лідерів різних країн для співпраці у розв’язанні глобальних проблем в економічному, гуманітарному, соціальному та культурному розрізах.
З першого дня заснування ООН були започатковані засадничі принципи солідарності у боротьбі зі злиднями, бідністю та гнобленням людей. Мета та завдання, які ставилися перед учасниками Організації, – об’єднати нації навколо проблем, пов’язаних зі злиднями та віднайти шляхи їх розв’язання. Також було створено міжнародний фонд для боротьби з бідністю у світі.
ООН надає можливість представникові кожної країни висловити свої погляди та бачення в різних комітетах та органах установи. Також різні держави-члени ООН можуть взяти участь в діалозі та переговорах стосовно різних тем. Організація Об’єднаних Націй – це своєрідний механізм для знаходження спільних інтересів, які допомагають розв’язувати різноманітні проблеми на загальному рівні.
ЯК ВІДЗНАЧАТИ МІЖНАРОДНИЙ ДЕНЬ СОЛІДАРНОСТІ ЛЮДЕЙ?
В Міжнародний день солідарності всі засоби масової інформації висвітлюють різноманітні глобальні проблеми, що потребують об’єднання суспільства. Також обговорюються шляхи досягнення поставлених цілей, головною з який є повне викорінення бідності на планеті.
Цього дня виступають відомі громадські та політичні діячі зі своїми лекціями, присвяченими глобальним питанням. В освітніх закладах організовуються цікаві зустрічі з видатними діячами сучасності. Також доречне проведення різноманітних благодійних акцій, за допомогою яких збирають кошти на вирішення певних проблем.
ЧОМУ ВАЖЛИВИЙ ЦЕЙ ДЕНЬ?
Кожен з нас може приєднатися до глобальних засад ООН та відчути своє значення на планеті Земля.
Солідарність – це не просто співчуття; це активні дії, що допомагають людям об’єднатися. Адже для розв’язання багатьох глобальних проблем дуже важливе об’єднання. Тільки спільними зусиллями ми можемо впоратися з труднощами та досягти поставлених цілей.

HOW DID THE IDEA OF CELEBRATING THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEOPLE'S SOLIDARITY APPEAR?

In turn, farmers receive the same tractors from the factories.
Solidarity with people suffering from oppression, oppression, and poverty is one of the cornerstones of the establishment and functioning of the United Nations.
PRINCIPLES OF SOLIDARITY IN THE UN
